Jeju Island attractions

The major attractions in Jeju Island all have something to do with volcanoes. And the thing about Jeju’s tourism department is that they assume everyone visiting the island has an intense geology background. All the signs that explain particular natural features use words like ‘parasitic volcano’, ‘oreum’ and ‘pyroclastic flows’ as if that’s just standard English conversation.
It is a bit of a nature whore's dream though. There are an abundance of walking trails, you can climb mountains and hills, explore underground lava caves and more. For those that are more inclined for the city life, you probably shouldn't be in Jeju.
Anyway, most of the attractions (except climbing Hallasan) in Jeju are priced but its pretty cheap, usually about 2,000 won.

Jeju-si
The city of Jeju. Home to the airport and other very unimpressive sights. A place to sleep, eat and kill some time. You can probably see most of it in one day
Hallasan
The biggest mountain in Korea and one of the main reason people come to Jeju. Former volcano come media darling
Jungmun-Daepo
Some rocks in the south that look cool that is also near some other stuff you might find interesting
Sungsan-udo-mangjAngGul Caves
A hill, an island and an underground lava cave. Three sights you can do in a day.
Fire festival
The best festival you will ever go to!
