About Stranger on foot
It's like an online guide book but lacking severe detail in some parts but having amazing need-to-know deets in other parts. It was born after reading a guide book about a place, then going to that place and realising that that guide book did not prepare me in the slightest. Stranger on Foot will try and give you the best survival tips for visiting a city. The knowledge that is passed on is knowledge that has been gained by going to that place so hopefully it's legitimate. And because it's not an official book or anything, a unique tips can given like 'don't go there cause it smells bad' or 'eating kimchi will do wonders for your bowel movements'.
About the author
I am Noby Leong and share the same name of great food products like Nobby's Nuts and fantastically mundane travel destinations like Nobby's Beach. I do have the distinct advantage of having only one 'B', which makes writing my name 20% quicker, assuming that each letter takes the same amount of time to write. I'm a scientist by trade and a traveler when I just don't want to do science anymore. Aside from this little project, I am science communicator and co-creator of The Other Side of Science.
